This is a replacement pump strainer basket that fits the Pentair WhisperFlo and the IntelliFlo VF, VS 3050, and VS + SVRS pump models. This basket will also fit the Waterway Workman and the Premier Renegade model 756 pumps.
Is this the basket strainer that is used in the Pentair whisperflo pool pump. Model # WFE6 1/1/2 hp FNSP48 Our system is a FNS Plus.

The basket strainer on my Whisperflo pool pump cracked after 10 years. At Inyo's website it was easy to find the replacement (the part number is cast into the rim). It fit perfectly.

Cons: None to date.
We use 2 Pentair pumps with this style basket on the estate here. One is in a swimming pool which hardly gets any debris in it. The first time I mildly cleaned this stock basket it split in several locations and no I'm not banging it to remove debris! The second one is use in a recirculating fountain which does require more frequent cleaning. After six months of use and hardly any debris the basket split similarly to the above. It was for this reason that I wanted an after market model. These new (non-Pentair) models seem much more sturdy and flexible... buy these from Inyo Pools!!!
