The Executive 56 Frame Spa Pump has an executive wet end designed for 56-Frame motors along with two double-shielded ball bearings with moisture-resistant grease for quieter operation and long life. The dual speed motors have insulated windings for increased efficiency and large, highly versatile 6-1/2" diameter wet end for higher head pressure. A split capacitor (start and run) allows for less energy consumption.

Would this be a good pump to use for some water features that are going to require like 130 GPM? I don't understand the disadvantage of this pump, it seems to deliver a ton of output even at a relatively high head. Why is it called a "spa pump"?

Yes, depending on the total feet of head, this pump would be more than sufficient. This is considered a spa pump because it produces high HP and pressure, perfect for spa jets. Additionally it has side discharge ports which are not compatible with most pool systems. The last thing is that this pump is a little smaller and take up less space so it can fit inside of certain spa spaces.
