I was a little apprehensive buying a universal part, but I am quite happy with this grid. It fits my Hayward filter quite well and seemed to be up to the original quality of the Hayward part.

Cons: cleans almost too well
The hayward products are always excellent. the only problem with these filters is that because the pool got dirty because of the old torn grids, and they take out so much dirt and debris that I have to backwash quite often.
