I need to connect 2" schedule 40 pipe to my Pentair sand filter P/N 272526. The original installer used standard 2" schedule 40 pvc unions. The threads did not match exactly so they used teflon tape that eventually has started to leak. What type of unions will I need to make the connections?

Looking for a Pentair Union Kit for 2 inch. part number 272590z. There is a kit on the web site but not sure it will fit.
