IntelliFlo® VS+SVRS Variable Speed Pool Pump
Model: EC-011057
WEF: 6.9 | THP: 3.95 | Compliant with ASME A112.19.17 (SVRS)
Experience industry-leading energy savings and built-in safety with the IntelliFlo® VS+SVRS pump. This advanced variable speed pump features a built-in Safety Vacuum Release System (SVRS) that detects drain blockage and automatically shuts off the pump — a critical safeguard that meets Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act (VGB) compliance requirements.
Key Features:
Built-in SVRS: Provides automatic pump shutoff in the event of a suction blockage. Compliant with ASME A112.19.17 and the VGB Safety Act. No SVRS calibrations required.
Energy Efficiency: Save up to 90% on energy costs using variable speed technology and a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor—the same technology used in hybrid vehicles.
Fully Programmable: Customize exact pump speeds for specific tasks including filtration, heating, cleaning, spa jets, and water features.
Intelligent Diagnostics: Onboard digital intelligence monitors for overheating, freezing, and voltage fluctuations to prevent damage and extend pump life.
Safety & Control:
Priming protection included.
Built-in SVRS cannot be disabled.
Password-protected lockout prevents unauthorized changes.
Set minimum/maximum speed limits for consistent, safe operation.
Automation Ready: Seamlessly integrates with Pentair automation systems for full control and scheduling.
Global Compatibility: Operates reliably on both 50 Hz and 60 Hz power inputs.
This pump is ideal for commercial and residential pools where safety, energy efficiency, and automation are top priorities. Its built-in SVRS protection makes it a great choice for applications requiring compliance with suction entrapment regulations.
How many hours per day should I run my pump?
Reply
There are many factors to consider; bather load, gallons of water, pump horsepower, type and size of filter just to name a few. A good guideline is 8-10 hours a day. On the cooler days and early and late season, you can cut the run time down to 4-6 hours because there is usually less swimmers and cooler water requires less chemicals. In peak season, when it is the hottest, raising the run time to 10-12 hours per day will help to keep the pool clean and circulating during it’s time of heaviest use.
