No, this is only for the EC50 model; you will need the Flex Tube Nest EC6 5 - ECX1251.

how many fingers in the 50c have Mine has about 96, long ones. I have been using my filter for 40 yrs and I bought it used. What would cause it to have to much pressure after acid wash and less the 3 cups of earth. The tubes are good no cracks. Could the finger covers be to saturated???? It was super until about two weeks ago. cleaned it three times then soaked it in acid over night.

Do I open the Hayward filter EC 50 c by loosening the nut with a wrench until the clamp is loosened?
