Hi. Based the info I found it may be the defrost sensor. I would recommend that you have a technician inspect the unit to confirm.

Will this solve an inaccurate temperature read out? My heater is reading a negative degree so heater won’t come on

This May solve the issue. You might also want to check the calibration of the control also
