Does this vac come with a hose?
Reply
The liner vac does not include a hose. According to the manufacturer, a standard 1.5" hose will work. We do carry 1.5" vac hoses.

what attachment is necessary(hose or what) to blow out the lines of a pool

another question i can hook it up to my pool hose? do i need an adaptor?
Reply
Hello Keith, 1 1/5" hose is recommended for this Air Supply Cyclone Liner Vac 3 HP 120 Volt. If you have anything else you would have to get adaptors.
Reply
I have seen videos of people using a cone-shaped adapter on the end of a vacuum hose attached to the cyclone to blow out their lines. Do you have a link to a cone adapter?
Reply
Zak, You can try using this cone adapter.

Reviewed By: x509 from New Jersey ()
Pros: Endless supply of high volume air
Cons: Expensive and quite loud
Great product, plenty of air volume. I connected it to my skimmer port and using the valves at the pool pad was able to blow all the lines out. Even the 3" main drain was cleared. Once the water cleared from the returns, the water spray shoots out 3-4 feet across the pool. Unlike with a pancake compressor, you'll never run out of air. Was worth the money for the peace of mind that the pool was winterized properly.

ORDERED THIS AIR SUPPLY VAC WITH SAVINGS IN MIND TO OPEN AND CLOSE MY INGROUND POOL MYSELF. IT WORKED AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO. MORE THAN ENOUGH POWER TO BLOW THE LINES FREE OF WATER. SAVED HALF THE PRICE OF THE VAC BY CLOSEING THE POOL MYSELF AND WILL SAVE THE OTHER HALF NEXT YEAR. GREAT MACHINE!

(4 out of 5 stars) wonderful closing blower
Reviewed By: JAYQ from St. John, IN ()
Pros: High efficiency; lightweight; seems durable.
Cons: Got hot during 15 minute continuous run time; whistles
Great, high-volume blower. Only negative is the adhesive used around the inlet nozzle is not uniformly applied or trimmed. It looks like it could be missing some adhesive in some places. Now, none of it seemed to affect the outcome of the pool closing, but the workmanship and "finish work" left something to be desired.

(5 out of 5 stars) A Must Have for Winterizing Pools
Reviewed By: Gary S. from Syracuse, NY. ()
Pros: Made to last for many years and saves money
Cons: None!
I run a small maintainance business and have been renting one of these to use as a blower for years. This product is what you need to get the job done right. Winterizing Swimming Pools correctly requires the complete removal of the water from the Skimmer and Returns...this has the power to get it done! Replacing broken lines underground can cost you alot of money. I have replaced them for customers and that has cost them way more than this liner vac/blower would have. I have no worry about the lines being completely water free using this product and no expensive callbacks for busted lines I have to dig up for free. This paid for itself in one season for me but will last for years!

(5 out of 5 stars) Compact and powerful
Reviewed By: Mike C. from Newburgh, NY ()
Pros: Compact, powerful, nice heavy-duty plastic casing
Cons: Hose not included
This nicely compact blower was powerful enough to blow out the bottom drain of my 8" deep end so that a fountain of bubbling water about 2 feet high was coming off of the surface of the pool. The plastic housing is heavy-duty - I prefer this to more expensive units I have seen with metal housing, as you don't have to worry about corrosion or chipping paint. Highly recommended.

Purchased this blower because it appeared to be the same one that I always use from a freind. Turns out it was. This blower works great for large inground pools, plenty of power to fully blow out all lines. Price was much less than any other similar blower that I could find. Thanks INYO!

(5 out of 5 stars) Great for pool water line winterizing.
Reviewed By: Dorothy B. from Massachusetts ()
Pros: Plenty of air flow and static pressurre.
Cons: Expensive, but saved cost of pool closure service.
Our pool has long runs of PVC piping under concrete that must be freed of water to avoid winter freezing. Used as a blower this 3 HP vacuum was easily attached to our pool cleaning hose with a supplied adapter and fed enough air into one pool skimmer to blow water through both skimmer lines and out the second skimmer as a several foot high geyser. Then by switching valves it had enough force to blow air out the 6 to 7 foot deep bottom drains. The return lines were also easily cleared of water.
