I have a salt water DE filter pool using the SM2-PP2 valve. Is this the correct repair kit for that valve? It is leaking thru the stem.

I decide the problem was the main gasket in the spider valve. Take off the retaining bolts around the valve. Removed bolts in a crosswise manner so as not to crack the valve housing. Once the cover is off just remove the valve by pulling straight up on the handle. The old gasket was in plain view on the bottom of the valve housing and had bee compromised in a couple of places. Used screwdriver and some spray silicone to remove the old gasket and some residual adhesive. Cleaned up the grooves to set the new gasket in place by scraping with a small screwdriver then applied adhesive in the corner points and set in the new gasket. Reinsert the valve body and reattach the bolts again in a cross wise manner so the new gasket would set correctly. Finish tightening all the bolts insert new handle and pin. Let dry for an hour and then tested for proper flow. All worked well.

O rings worked perfect. In retrospect, I did not need the entire kit. But, sometimes, it is better to have more than less (saves time).

Cons: Should recommend glue down spider gasket
I used parts in this kit to overhaul our 13 year old pool filter multi-port valve. The Purex Triton valve spider gasket and shaft O-rings were worn and leaking. The kit items fit perfectly and the valve is back in service with no leaks.

The CS rep was very helpful in determining which gasket to order for my diverter valve. Delivery was as expected and the installation was very simple. I did have one question about whether to use glue or not and that was answered very quickly by CS. The one negative would be the lack of instructions included with the product and the fleeting comment about using glue in the instructional video.
